Glenn has provided Information Technology services in the Canadian Oil and Gas market for the past 25, working 17 years for a major oil company and the past 8 for an IT management consulting firm. A relevant sample of Glenn’s skills, knowledge and work experience is listed below:

  • Managed field data capture systems implementations for three major oil companies.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Production Volume Reporting (PVR) system and the Gas Facilities Reporting (GFR) systems.
  • Managed the development and implementation of the Production Equipment Performance Reporting (PEPR) compressor optimization system for a large oil company.
  • Expertise in IT performance measurement.
  • Developed strategic IT plans for a number of smaller oil companies and a large utility company entering a deregulated energy market.
  • Consulted for a large propane company providing direction and systems upgrades in a number of areas.
  • Managed the implementation of a financial system and work management system for an oilfield services company.
  • Extensive skills in process improvement and business process re-engineering. Participated in a production data process re-engineering project that netted the client $10million in savings.
  • Implemented land management systems covering land acquisition, contract management, mineral lease recording, surface rights management and corporate data distribution.
  • Managed the desktop support and IT training departments in a large oil company.
  • Developed a production accounting system in the mid 80’s taking into account the need of oil pricing deregulation.
