Doug has designed and developed custom database solutions for over 20 years, primarily in the Canadian Oil and Gas industry. In addition to being a lead developer of the PEPR application itself, some of Doug’s other relevant experiences include:
- Developed a web-based AFE and Rig Scheduling System for a large Oil & Gas producer
- Constructed several Production estimating and Budgeting software packages
- Managed a team of six software developers on a year long, 20-person project building a corporate well system for an international, mid-sized oil and gas producer
- Designed and developed a process control application to manage all aspects of a large environmental services company
- Constructed a preventative maintenance application (e.g. pressure vessels, pipe, motors, etc.) for an international engineering firm
- Developed a variety of extension applications to a large gas marketing software package and constructed numerous other database/reporting point solutions.
- Designed and developed dozens of other custom software solutions using a variety of technologies, including Oracle, SQL Server, Jet, Microsoft ASP.NET, ASP, Visual Basic, Access, OLEDB, ODBC, DAO, and Crystal Reports.
